At Power Utilities Group, supporting our local community is something we truly value. Last year, we decided to launch a company-wide food collection for Breaking Bread Food Bank after reading an article in the Express & Star about how the charity was struggling and in need of more donations to keep up with demand. That story really resonated with us. We knew we wanted to help make a difference for the individuals and families who rely on the food bank for essential supplies.
Our first collection was such a success that we knew it could not be a one-time effort. This year, we were proud to do it again, and once again our incredible staff came together to support this cause. Thanks to their generosity and contributions, we were able to donate an amazing 81kg of food and essential items to Breaking Bread Food Bank.
Every single item collected will help support people within our community who need it most, and we are proud to play a part in making life a little easier for those facing difficult circumstances.
